“Highway run, Into the midnight sun”
Itutuloy….

ANG PAG-IBIG NI PAKITA 2
I.
II.
“Anong trabaho mo ngayon at mukha kang wasted?”
“wala, blogger”
“Trabaho ba yun?”
“Ayoko muna Junny, Please”
“Promise di kita uuratin ngayon! Sige na please!”
III.
“Junny ano bang gusto mo?”
“OO”
Natulala si Pakita.
IV.
“Nakakatawa yung mukha mo nun sa video”
“Ang yabang mo naman, if I know crush mo rin naman ako noon”
“Hala, wag kang feeling ah di kita sasagutin!”

Then biglang maglalabasan yung mga alitaptap.
“Nakangiti satin yung buwan”

PARTY PARTY PA KAMI DITO BAGUIO. WOHHOOOOOO”

Enteng ng Ina mo

_ENIM mini poster

Its been my family’s tradition to watch Tanging Ina mo sequels since it premiered last 2003. Its not because we love the story, but because were entertained by the characters and somehow we see ourselves in them. Indeed its not a artsy, mind boggling or original type of comedy genre but we can’t deny seeing ourselves as a parent and as a child.

In 2010, Ang Tanging Ina mo Last na To!, gathered majority of the awards in the Metro Manila Film Festival. This time, it seems to me that they’re not after the awards but rather the box office hits, as they put together Vic Sotto and Ai Ai Delas Alas in one Magical Comedy Movie.

During a Press Conference, Vic Sotto told the media that the idea of having this tandem was when Ai-Ai Delas Alas claimed her award for Best Actress back in 2010 and said that the only thing she wishes is to marry Vic Sotto.

As per the screen writer Danno Kristoper C. Mariquit, writing the script was never that easy as he have to think for something that is common in the character of Ina Montecillo and Enteng Kabisote.

Vic Sotto also added that they have prepared something at the end of the movie that everyone should watch for.

Enteng ng Ina mo will be shown in more than 100 theaters nationwide on December 25, 2011.

Segunda Mano

SegundaMano18x24in

I’m a guilty user of second hand stuffs I bought from Ukay-Ukay. Not only I enjoy its quality, but I also feel like I’m recycling and somehow express my creativity in picking the right thing for me.  That is why I can relate to this movie offering of Star Cinema and MJM Pictures titled Segunda Mano.

It is indeed that were not sure with the owners of the things we buy from thrift shops. It might been collected or from people who has dark past and been hunted for unknown reason. This premise makes the movie more interesting to watch.

Also, the characters in the movie seems pretty interesting especially the one that will be portrayed by Angelica Panganiban. According to Star Cinema Press Release, Panganiban’s character will treat the audience to a big surprise. I only hope it’ll not be like the typical horror movie where in the end, the audience will realize that the character is already dead or has psychological problems etc. Also, I’m wishing that there will be no other woman/man thingy in this entry. LOL!

Kris Aquino plays an owner of a high-class but creepy antique shop while Ding Dong Dantes is a rich and successful architect recovering from pain after his wife left him for another man. Their characters will eventually cross paths as they fall in love with each other and encounter some chilling events. Putting their situations in a perilous test.

A Creepy URBAN LEGEND

IMG218
Its often for me to sleep in our sala since its pretty hot in my room, and with that, I frequently notice our comfort room, specially when I turn off the lights. Something runs in my head. Its creepy story I heard from a classmate residing in a government owned condo in Taguig just like ours here in Makati. Let me tell you the story:
It was pass 2 in the morning when a girl woke up from a deep sleep. She felt urinating so she went into their comfort room. The unit they stayed in is not that furnish yet so the pipes in the ceiling of their comfort room are still visible. It’s pretty huge pipes that carries water for those residing on the upper floor.
She turned on their yellow bulb lights creating a  not so clear ambience. She pull down her pants. Sit on bowl and urinate.
While doing her thing, she felt someone pulled her hair. She looked at her surrounding, and realized that she’s just alone in the comfort room there is nothing to fear about.
Then she felt was someone pushed her right arm. She was shocked in a moment and almost stop urinating because she was pushed hard. She then felt the same  to her left arm. Someone is really pushing her arms. It became intense when the pushing became frequent. She notice that it seems like someone is not pushing her but rather stepping her arms.
She looked up and saw a little child. Hanging for its life, like as if he committed suicide.
She wants to scream but suddenly the child look at her and smile.

What’s so great about that expensive planner…

…if you can purchase a very affordable and earth friendly one like this
FxCam_1324094145771
I’m not paid to promote such planners or bash any brands. Our family has been using planners from Papelmeroti since I was 12. For us, its simplicity makes it easier to organize events and dates to remember. Also, its petite and easy to keep. I remember keeping all my planners from 2007 to 9 and funny reminisce the events happened in the past years.  Unfortunately I lost it all when the water from my broken aquarium, which happens to be on the top of my shelves spill and spoil my writings. It leaves me no choice but to throw them away.
Fast forward to 2011, when I went to one of its branches in Glorietta, the store was already gone. Good thing I received a planner as a gift.
Planner indeed is a great help to us, but should it really be expensive?
Instead of buying an expensive one, why don’t we just save it or donate it to the needy. With these, you just didn’t earn something, you also help others and the environment. <----- that is if the planner you bought is made out of a tree.
Anyways, unlike any other planners, this one doesn’t have coupons in it. Its nothing but a planner that is made out of organic materials leaving one tree alive.
…and that’s what I like about it.

I have tried one their Smart Phones and was quite impressed by the fact that its far more better than others. Well, the only thing maybe that I don’t like about it is its camera. Provided that its 5MP, Its still grainy and I’m not really into it since I’m a photo and video enthusiast.

Nicole Scherzinger Nailed it!

I think turning from POP to OPERA is pretty hard, but she just made this performance amazing.
Let us not forget the 4men who made the presentation more intense. They’re really incredible.
Upon watching this I remember my friend Aethan. He so much love Phantom of the Opera and I wish to see him on stage also singing operatic music. Hahahahahaha!

And whatever that purpose is, I believe its for the betterment of something. I hope I get my message delivered after you finish watching my short Film.

The Day I wash the Dishes…

FxCam_1323766366914 FxCam_1323766348673 FxCam_1323766357813
“YUMMY DINUGUAN KAY HIRAP HUGASAN”
The Day I wash the dishes…
…is the day I ate a lot
why am I sharing this?
Oh well! Honestly I hate this work, but I have to do it. Wala naman kasi kaming katulong.
The reason why I hate doing the dishes is because, I have my OCness every time I do it. Its like I’m wasting lots of water. Hahahaha! that’s no excuse ah. But really, my process goes like this:
1. I’ll rinse all plates and utensils, when it looks and feel clean to me I’ll proceed to number 2.
2. Set aside everything and I’ll clean the sink. I have to make sure that the sink is shiny enough so that it looks clean to me. I hate washing dishes in a dirty looking sink, haysststttsss… Ka-artehan diba?
3. I’ll put dishwashing liquid on the sponge and wash all the dishes.
4. Rinse with flowing water. If its stagnant, ayawan na.
5. And so on and so for…
Diba? what a waste of water :(
I believe my habit in wasting water while washing the dishes should stop. It’s a process, and I know the day will come masasanay na ko.
Kasi I don’t want to wait for the time na mawawalan na tayo ng potable water diba? so I must learn how to conserve it while it last!
YEAH :D

Pokwang in a drama movie (A mother’s story)? Why not

FxCam_1323866723464
I remember my classmate told me, “Nakaka-iyak kapag ang nagda-drama sa TV komedyante.”. So I tried watching an episode of Maalaala mo kaya starring Ai Ai Delas Alas. Indeed, it made me cry big time! <shameless confession>  From then on I started downloading drama movies and TV series/episodes where most of the lead actors are comedian like Ai-Ai, Dolphy, Tessie Tomas and even those International Actors. I don’t know but maybe there is something innate with them that make’s me love the story more even if the premise is simple. The feeling is so melancholic, it’s like being a child again, enjoying your Ice Cream in cone and then suddenly the clown you’re watching starts crying. I don’t know with you, but if I’m the child, I will also cry. Mababa talaga luha ko eh. Just like what happened a while ago during the Press Conference of A mother’s story. Where Pokwang started crying after being asked about how she sacrificed for her children and if she already have forgiven his ex-husband. Muntik na ko maiyak.
IMG402  IMG400 IMG401
Well, I really feel for her. I know it’s hard for a woman to stand alone and away to her children to provide their needs. Before Pokwang won a reality competition in ABS-CBN, she was an entertainer in other country. She raised her two children alone. Unfortunately, one of  them died because of brain tumor and she received nothing, even a single cent from his ex-husband upon asking for support. Now immersed to such experience, Pokwang will play a role very close to her heart. A mother.
FxCam_1323862977348 FxCam_1323862990575 FxCam_1323863002408
The story of this movie goes like this (I haven’t watch it pa ah), Pokwang will play the role of Medy, an OFW, influenced by her friend to go TNT (Tago ng Tago) in other country to try her luck and to bring good life for her family. Later on, she is force to come home empty handed finding her family in disarray with her children having issued against her and worse, her husband guilty of something that Medy never expected.
I even heard this movie received a standing ovation abroad.
If curiously, you’re wondering how American’s will react to this movie, (As you can see in the trailer, Medy’s employer there were so cruel) I think and I wish it will not reflect the majority naman. Zenedy Que, the writer said that the movie is based on a collective stories of different experiences abroad and he doesn’t mean that all OFW’s were being bullied by their employers there. Most of them are friends with their employers panga.
We all know naman that abuse is everywhere. It happens sometimes in people lives and maybe somehow, while making the story they thought it would be more dramatic if they include such scenario. To those people fighting on youtube comment box, this is just a movie and once again, the cruelty of Medy’s employers doesn’t reflect the majority of employers abroad. Owkie? :D
I also hope people who’s going watch this movie have open minds to accept the fact that sometimes abuse really happens and the only way to stop it is to not participate or promulgate such act. And to those, who are deciding to leave the country for the belief of a better living, maybe this film can bring you a little inspiration and enable you to see what consequences ahead.
The movie also stars Beth Tamayo, Xyriel Manabat, Nonie Buencamino, Ana Capri, Aaron Villaflor and Rayver Cruz, directed by John D. Lazatin, Written by Zenedy Que and will open here in the Philippines on January 8, 2012.

Say Hello to my Little FIGHTERS!

I started breeding Fighting Fish 2 months ago, and now there are plenty of them in this tank.

FxCam_1323587859645

Well not really plenty as in many that they're almost crowded in my aquarium, I just can’t count them. I don’t even bother doing so because they’re so malilikot that I don’t even know what’s next.

FxCam_1323589102276 my little fighters in a palanggana

Today, I just finished washing their tank and upon separating them, I noticed they started having blue fins. Well some were mix with red while others seems to be albino. Hehehe.

It fills my heart with so much joy seeing them swim together without fighting at all. I know a day will come that they’ll fight each other so I’m enjoying their harmonious moment today.

Sorry, my CP camera cannot capture their beautiful/cute looks.

I don’t know the purpose why God made them fighters? They’re so beautiful creatures and I imagine a flock of them swimming in the river would be like seeing aquatic angels.

On the other side of my thoughts, maybe its just us who made them fighters to death , maybe they are not really that. Maybe we people are the reason why they fight to death? Hmmmmm…. Is there a legend about fighting fish? hmmmmmm….I’ll ask google.Cheers! :D

AFTER MINUTES OF SEARCHING I found this on wikipedia:

Male bettas do not 'fight to the death' under normal conditions of the wild life; once one fish has clearly won the encounter, the loser will retreat to a safe location. In an aquarium, however, there is no place to run, and the winning fish will continue to attack the loser, often ending in death. Therefore, two male betta splendens should not be kept in the same tank unless they are (a) separated by a dividing wall, (b) in a very large tank so they can establish territory, or (c) offered the cover of rocks or floating plants.
SEE! So its wrong to keep them in small tanks with both male beta’s because most likely they’ll will just defend themselves resulting to hurting each other.

So once they are all grown up, ill build them houses of their own. hahaha!
